Letter from the President

Greetings and I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving filled with food and family. It is a special time for evaluating the many blessings of our lives. I am especially thankful for all the folks of CAHED and the help and friendship I have experienced over the years.

The fall meeting at Vail in new surroundings was great! Food and fellowship reached an all time high. Dr Bill Wagner had a very informative presentation presented in a engaging style. Scott Garcia has done an outstanding job of providing excellent speakers with high education value throughout the year. In that regard Jerry McFarland should have your input before the end of this year on subjects of interest.

PLEASE remember we have a new Advocacy appointee in Mark Jelinske . Your experience with inspections, local, State or Federal is important to share so we have insight into how healthcare is impacted and how much money is being spent. You must take the time and make the commitment if we are to prepare documentation to help make a difference in healthcare code related expenses. Mark can be contacted at MJelinske@catorruma.com

Time is flying and before we turn around again Christmas will be here. Hope you can take some time with family and friends and at least for a few days without the smart phone. It does not seem at all possible but this is my last official communication with you as my year as President comes to an end. Your Board of Directors has been a wonderful group and serves you with commitment and enthusiasm.

I continue to be amazed by what Donna brings to this organization. CAHED is better because of her.
