Please join us for the next session in a series of webinars to discuss sustainability topics that affect the healthcare industry. The State of Colorado requires all facilities over 50,000 SF to meet energy use intensity and GHG emission reduction targets by 2030. Our webinar series explores various technical approaches that hospitals can take to save energy and GHG emissions. Existing building commissioning is proven to be one of the most cost-effective means to improve the performance of existing building systems, identify operational issues, and produce energy savings, typically for less than a 2 year simple payback.

In July’s webinar, we will discuss the following learning objectives:

  1. Why do existing building commissioning? What is the value of the process?
  2. What is existing building commissioning (EBCx)? Understand the EBCx definitions and process.
  3. How should a building owner procure Cx services? What does the Cx team look like? What is expected of the facility team?
  4. What is monitoring based/ongoing commissioning (MBCx)? How is it different than EBCx?
  5. Why should a building owner consider an MBCx approach? What are the pros/cons of a continuous commissioning process?
  6. What are the MBCx process steps and expected outcomes?
  7. What are the MBCx technology requirements? What are the application concerns for healthcare facilities?

This is free for members and $50 for non-members.
