UC Health Mgr Facilities Management
Facility: Yampa Valley Medical Center- Steamboat Springs, CO.
Full-Time Exempt (40 hours/week)
Manages daily operations of the Facilities department to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Required Licensure/Certification: None Required. Preferred: CHFM or CHC.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of direct experience. Preferred: Hospital experience.
