To advance the development of effective healthcare management in the areas of Engineering, Facilities Management, Safety, and Biomedical Engineering by providing educational opportunities and stimulating the exchange of information among healthcare professionals supporting the Environment of Care.

Vision

By 2015, the Colorado Association of Healthcare Engineers and Directors (CAHED) will be recognized by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) as a Platinum Chapter placing CAHED as one of the top 10 ASHE chapters in the United States.

Our visionary model will:

• Exceed the expectations of our chapter members
• Deliver timely educational programs providing a forum where changes in regulations, technology, and healthcare issues are presented and discussed
• Stimulate the exchange of ideas and information among healthcare leaders
• Educate and mentor the next generation of healthcare engineering professionals
